August 2011 Newsletter excerpts
The Annual Pomona Grange Picnic will be held on the 21st of August at Byron and Janet Green's Ranch in Bachelor Valley. There will be no Pomona Meeting, as the picnic will take its place. Its our fun time with family and friends. The Pomona Grange will supply the meat and drinks. Pot luck salads and dessert. Hope to see you all at the picnic. Byron Green will provide the cooking for the Bar-B-Q. It is a good time to meet new friends and long time friends alike. The picnic is for all Grange Members and their families.
The next Pomona Grange Meeting will be on the 11th of September at the
Bachelor Valley Grange. We will need to vote for our new Pomona Grange
Officers.
Don't forget the state Grange Convention will be held on the 12th
through the 15th of October.
Note: Carole and Marilyn went to the Grange
Camp at Lake Tahoe, from the 5th through the 9th of July, and had a
good time.
