The stars-and-bars flag represents:
- SLAVERY
- Traitors
- Hatred
- Racism
- Murder
- Cowardice
Above all, it stands for losers. In every way the word can apply.
This flag does not represent “heritage” any more than the Swastika represents “heritage.” No more, no less, no different.
To quote comedian John Oliver, we thank those that fly/wear/otherwise display this flag… “for making it so easy to identify the worst people among us.”
Unfortunately, you may still see this flag flying in Lake County. Including above the home of at least one law enforcement officer. Yes, that is worrisome. Welcome to Lake County. There’s a lot of good here, but that does not make us immune to the bad.

Islam-inspired terror attacks in the USA accounted for 50 fatalities over the past 13 years. Meanwhile, white Christian right-wing extremists averaged 337 attacks per year in the decade after 9/11 causing a total of 254 fatalities.
