Occupy Lakeport on Occupy Main Street USA Day
On November 5th, communities across the nation celebrated Occupy Main Street USA by occupying bailed-out banks, and Lake County citizens answered the call.  Refusing to be dismayed by the cold and rainy weather, spirits were high and smiles were wide as they held aloft signs and umbrellas on Main Street in Lakeport where two (2) bailed out banks share the block between 5th and 6th streets. Many of Saturday's occupiers were first-timers, happy to join in supporting OWS here at home. Some of them learned about OWS as result of seeing or reading about previous Lake County occupations. Excellent!
